Overview
The project was delivered in 12 weeks, which was a great achievement by our installation team. The client has taken floors 1, 2 and 4 providing 83,400 sq. ft. of office space.
Baskerville House was built in 1938 on the site originally occupied by John Baskerville’s home. The building formed part of Birmingham City Council’s offices until they moved out in 1988. Since then the building has undergone a number or refurbishments and transformations, including the addition of two new floors. The current landlord has recently completed another refurbishment of the building, which will bring the office space up to BREEAM very good standards.
The new floor layouts will benefit from excellent design allowing for the installation of robust and simple to use Wired IT Data Networks, Wi-Fi, Telephony, Printing Devices, Digital Signage and Audio Visual installations. Formal and informal meeting spaces will be formed to satisfy the needs of the building occupants to allow them to work in a collaborative way. There will also be a robust and intuitive room booking system to enable more efficient and intelligent use of all the meeting rooms.
”Whitestar always met our requirements, without fail. When we started our headquarter renovation project, we knew we could rely on John and the team to keep our network running.

”Whitestar has a ‘can-do’ attitude. As a customer, this puts my mind at ease. I know they will do everything they can to deliver a project for me.
